Well it's my first Christmas and I get to learn about the birth of another baby, like me, named Jesus and I look forward to learning more and more about Him as I get older.
There also seems to be so much more other stuff that gets packed into the day so it's been a whole new experience for me.
At last I get to sit at the table like everybody else since I sit up on my own. Grandma has a high chair that I can borrow and it's really cool. If there's no high chair the chair and scarf/towel method always works!
Now I've discovered I can sit in the shopping cart it has brought a whole new dimension to shopping. I can touch things on the shelf, see everything that is going on and even try things on!
This is a VERY old chair. My Great Great grandfather made it for my Daddy's dad when he was young, so since then all the Tretheway's get their photo's in it. It fits me just right!
This sign language is turning out to be really useful. Do you know it saves me about 6-8 crys a day as all I need to do now is the nappy sign and Mummy or Daddy attend it. Click on the video below to see the sign in action, then if I'm ever around, you know what to do!
On the 14th October I got dedicated at my Daddy's church, Grace Community Covenant Churchin Olympia, WA. There were 4 babies being dedicated on that day over the 3 church services.
What also comes with new teeth is trying to learn how to use a toothbrush...Mummy has got me a hedgehog toothbrush and some yummy tasting mixed berry toothpaste
Whilst we were visiting Owen I was able to take my first swing ride. Since our return to Olympia I've got Dad searching high and low for a park with a similar swing so I can perfect the art of swinging.
The male company just keeps getting younger. At last I get to hang out with somebody my own age. Owen was born 3 days after me in Canada and it was so good to exchange our thoughts on this new world that we are learning about and even do some things together.

He even taught me how to keep on rolling over from one end of the room to the other. Owen had this cool activity chair and he let me play in it....so thank you, Owen, for sharing your toys and taking the time out for me and I can't wait until we return to Canada to play again. Hopefully we will be walking by then and we can do even more things.
